Abi-Le Spinning

In a dark room of the family home beneath the peaks of Ladakh, abi-le (grandmother) starts to spin the wool from their small herd of goats. Ladakhi wool is highly prized, and often ends up in neighbouring Kashmir to be turned into shawls and pashminas.
