Crossing Blue Waters

Above the bright mineral waters of the Tsarap Chu, a man puts his faith in a bridge of woven willow. A few months earlier, a huge flood tore through this valley - the result of a glacial dam bursting higher up in the mountains of Zanskar. Finally, this new bridge meant it was possible to cross to the west, and the monastery of Phugtal.
