The Cup of Kings

Description

A familiar sight in early spring, Marsh-marigold (Caltha palustris) thrives near to water. In Celtic folklore, it's used in divination, and a garland can divert the power of fairies. The golden, goblet-shaped flowers provide an alternative name - the Kingcup.
