Camelopardis

Looking out across the hills of northern Uganda, this giraffe is a member of a very rare subspecies. Formerly known as 'Rothschild's giraffe', it has been reclassified as Giraffa camelopardalis camelopardis. There are only around 1500 on earth, and half of them live here, in the Murchison Falls NP.
