Fluted Peak

The elegant lines of Gangchempo rise to 6400m above the Langtang valley. This area was explored by Tilman in 1949 - he called it 'Fluted Peak' and gave his own name to a difficult pass which lies beyond. In the valley below, Tilman investigated a cave, reputed to be the home of a yeti.
