Flowers

An ornate doorway in the old town of Bhaktapur, an ancient Newar city to the east of Kathmandu. Carved with flowers, the door has stood for centuries and survived the earthquake that destroyed or damaged so many of the historic buildings here. Someone has left a small offering of marigolds.
